Membership

    Membership of the Club shall be open to:

    1. All deaf and hard of hearing carp anglers, no matter if you speak, sign, wear hearing aids, cochlear implants or none of these you are welcome! Our players also come from a range of different backgrounds and cultures.
    2. Anglers seeking to apply for membership of British Deaf Carp Angling will require the support of two club members and if he/she does not know two existing members then he/she will be required to do an on-line or Video-relay interview with the executive committee or sub-committee appointed by the Executive Committee at the earliest possible convenience.
    3. Candidates for Membership shall complete an application in a form approved by the Executive Committee and admission to membership shall be subject to the approval of a majority vote of the Executive Committee or Sub-Committee. The membership Secretary shall, after vetting, issue a Membership Card, a Copy of the Constitution and a copy of the by laws to members on receipt of the appropriate subscription for the Membership required.
    4. The final decision on application for membership will be at the discretion and vote of the Executive Committee. Their decision shall be final.
    5. All members will be required to attend at least 1 match throughout the year
    6. The annual membership fee will be reviewed by the Executive Committee on an annual basis. All membership fees shall be decided at the AGM or at an EGM called for that purpose.
    7. Membership will run from the first of January each year and all membership fees must be paid by January 31st. New members can join any time but must renew again in January.
    8. All angling members of British Deaf Carp Angling must hold a valid rod licence.
    9. Only paid up members may fish in British Deaf Carp Angling matches or attend events.
